Interior Design STUDENT INTERNSHIP, Baldwin Park, FL.
During an interior design internship at BRPH, skills gained at Seminole State College of Florida were put into practice through collaboration on a wide range of design projects. Responsibilities included conducting location research, creating digital mood boards in InDesign and Photoshop, and contributing to custom carpeting concepts through a strong eye for color and pattern.
Support was also provided in material selection, product sample ordering, and maintaining organized library resources. Additional contributions included preparing presentation boards, compiling vendor lists in Excel, and assisting with Revit tasks—all in service of the team’s collective goals.
This hospitality-focused internship proved transformative, strengthening a passion for hotel design and motivating the pursuit of Cornell University’s Hotel Planning and Design Certification. The opportunity to learn from BRPH’s talented design team was truly invaluable.
